When He Approached The Microphone At Graduation, He Revealed Something Devastating

High school graduation doesn’t just signify the end of something. It also celebrates the beginning of a brand-new era in one’s life. Graduation speeches are usually replete with well-wishes, and more often than not, they bring students, faculty, and parents to tears. But one student in New Zealand just gave the most heartbreaking speech of all time — and it was absolutely stunning.

Jake Bailey is loved by everyone who knows him. Sadly, the admirable teen was given some devastating news while he was in the process of drafting his graduation speech.

Just days before the ceremony, doctors told Jake that he had an aggressive form of cancer that would kill him in three weeks if he didn’t start treatment immediately. Suddenly, a world of possibility turned into a terrifying glimpse into what could be a short future.

Marine Returns Home To See His Disabled Son Walk For The First Time

While his father was away, he achieved an unthinkable goal.

What an amazing moment. Michael clearly has the heart of a lion and the dedication of a Marine. It’s also pretty obvious that these parents are more than proud of their little fighter. With determination like that, Michael will continue to prove his doctors wrong.

92-Year-Old Woman Has Served Food And Inspiration To Generations Of Students

Ninety-two-year-old Angelina Narcisse has been serving food and inspiration for an incredible 62 years at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette. The sweet woman with a heart of gold is everyone’s favorite lunch lady and with good reason. Narcisse never went to school herself, so she can neither read nor write, but she’s a professor when it comes to dishing out sage words of wisdom to her students.

The great-great-great-grandmother raised 10 children, but thousands more have come to know her as “ma” over the decades.

This just goes to show that kindness goes a long way towards inspiring others to become the best versions of themselves.
