These Dogs Knew Nothing But Pain Until Rescuers Gave Them A New Lease On Life

Living in total misery, two young pit bulls named Lois and Clark lived under a truck until fairly recently. Starving and in desperate need of medical attention, they weren’t going to last much longer in that state. That’s when a few volunteers from Hope for Paws heard about their situation and decided that enough was enough.

They struggled a bit at first, but after some coaxing, they were able to wrangle the terrified pups. When they started warming up to rescuers, the adorable pair revealed that they were actually big softies.

Lois and Clark are now looking for a forever home, and the folks at Hope for Paws really want to find a family that will let them stay together. If you’d like to help them, please consider sharing their story and directing people in the Los Angeles area to the shelter.

Two Golden Retrievers Kept Their Owner Alive For Two Days After She Fell.

They say dogs are a man’s best friend, but apparently, they are also our guardian angels.

A Florida woman suffered a near-fatal fall survived the ordeal thanks to her two golden retrievers, Higgins and Dodger. The 76-year-old broke her shoulder and bruised her head when she fell in her kitchen. The woman lives by herself and has Parkinson’s disease, so she could not get up on her own and drifted in and out of consciousness for two days.

As she lay there helplessly for two days, the dogs stayed with her, not having any access to water or food during that time. The two dogs kept her warm, and kept her as comfortable as they could. But according to the woman, the main thing they did for her was to let her know that she was not alone.

The woman was eventually found by a worried friend who had a spare key to the house.

What This Doberman Decides To Do On The Slide Just Made My Day.

Taking your dogs to the park and playing with them as part of the family is a joy. After all, only kids and animals are able to embrace their joy and urge to play. A pair of Dobermans were having fun with their owners when they came across the slide. The first dog knew exactly what to do.

He slid down without any problem.

His sister, though, wasn’t too sure what to make of this “slide” thing.

She stood at the top, contemplating what to do…

Then, she decided just to do what came naturally. It was hilarious:

No dog or human was hurt during the filming of this video. Next time, though, only Gogo will play on the slide. His sister can stay on the ground with her feet firmly planted. OOPS. Share their funny day at the park by clicking on the button below.

Cats And Dogs Can Be Best Friends…And Here’s The Adorable Proof

The tale is as old as time: dogs and cats just don’t get along. While that may be the “rule,” this adorable duo is definitely the exception to it.

When Cosmo, a golden retriever puppy, and his fluffy friend Afera, a Russian blue kitten, are anywhere near each other, they tumble, pounce, and just play around. Prepare yourself for adorable overload!

Turns out, they’re definitely not alone, either.

Some friends are more gentle…

Then there are the rowdier ones.

I have a dog, but I’m seriously considering getting a kitten after seeing these cute couples!

She Survived A Tornado To Almost Not Make It Out Of The Wreckage. This Is Her Rescue.

The end of 2015 was rough for much of the middle of the country, where tornadoes ripped across countrysides, destroying homes and taking lives in some places. Rowlett, Texas, was one of those towns where an EF3-rated storm swept through, wrecking Michael Delgado’s home in its path.

Though his brother and grandmother were inside when the tornado hit, they were safely rescued from the rubble after it passed. When cleanup crews came to the scene days later, they heard whimpers and pulled the family’s yellow lab out. He was also alive and well.

It wasn’t until even later and right before they were about to leave the scene that rescuers heard another small cry for help…

Lucy, the family’s miniature pinscher, had survived in between wall studs and made one final cry for help. Thankfully, these brave rescuers saved the day yet again!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who was affected by these terrible storms.

Ikea Advertises Adoptable Dogs In Their Stores, Because Every Home Needs A Loving Pet

Home For Hope is a project that was born out of a pressing issue in Singapore, the amount of dogs living in shelters and not getting adopted. With a limited budget, most animal shelters can only afford to voice their messages using social media, but the problem with that is their followers are mostly pet lovers who already have adopted dogs. So to reach a broader audience Home For Hope teamed up with IKEA for a much needed exposure for homeless pets. Watch the creation of this heartwarming viral ad campaign in the video below, then go out and adopt a friend for life!

(Source: Home for Hope – You can find their website here) Furniture might be what makes your living space more comfortable, but nothing makes a house feel like home more than a four-legged bundle of love. Share this incredible IKEA campaign with your friends below.

He Took His Cat To A Dog Show — And What Happened Is Obviously Adorable

How does your cat spend its afternoons? Probably with a good nap, playing with some toys, maybe even tormenting the mail carrier

But for Boomer the Bengal cat, he’d rather spend the day showing off his training. And what better place to do it…than at a dog show!

Boomer’s been taught by a professional trainer to walk around on a leash greeting other animals, but when he does it at a dog show, some might contend that he becomes the life of the party, not the pooches!

That little nose boop that he offers to every new pup is just too adorable!

More dogs and cats need to be BFF.

(Although maybe not all of them.)

Serious shade being thrown by the weenie dog.

Who said dogs and cats don’t get along?

Your heart is going to melt from all of the cuteness!
